Hello and welcome to Your Post Baby Body! My name is Jessica Camden and I’m the proud mother of 3 wonderful little boys ranging in age from 8 months to 5 years old. I love being a mom with everything I have and my little boys mean the world to me. Each of my pregnancies were widely different, some much easier than others.
I’ve gone through Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SDP), Diastasis Recti, a myriad of stretch marks, Postpartum Depression, and so much more. Because of these changes, I got to where I was so ashamed of my body and myself. I felt sick every time I looked in the mirror.
With my first two pregnancies, the biggest postpartum change was numerous stretch marks just about everywhere you could get them. I just accepted that this was how my post pregnancy body would always look. With my last pregnancy, everything else hit me head on. I suffered from SPD for half of my pregnancy, went through Postpartum Depression, realized after my baby was born that I had Diastasis Recti, and decided I had to do something about it.
I was going to have a post baby body that I loved and was proud of! With this firm decision in mind, I started out researching how I could heal Diastasis Recti. I wasn’t sure if it’d even be possible, but I had to try! I found so many great techniques and training programs dedicated just to healing Diastasis Recti and I was actually able to heal a four inch wide gap completely! I thought I’d only be able to heal it partially.
I was ecstatic! Next, I focused on addressing my stretch marks; I researched Natural Remedies. I tried several creams, lotions, and oils giving each one a couple weeks to give me results. Some worked great! Others took too long for me to see results, so I stopped using them. I ended up with a handful of natural remedies and stretch mark creams I absolutely love 🙂
Thirdly, I focused on Postpartum Depression. It’s something that so many mothers go through and it is so hard to come out of it. I was determined to overcome it through natural remedies as I didn’t want to be taking any drugs. There are so many Natural Remedies for Postpartum Depression and I’m living proof that they they work!
Lastly, I researched what I could do for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. I found several things I could do before pregnancy and during pregnancy to help relieve the symptoms of SPD and now I feel hopeful that maybe I can try for a girl in a couple months and not worry about the extreme pain I suffered throughout my last pregnancy.
I built Your Post Baby Body in the hopes that I could help other mom’s get the post baby body they always dreamed of as well. I’ve learned I don’t have to just accept the things I mentioned above and there is so much that can be done for it! I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m stronger than I was before I had my first son!
I don’t want any of you to have to go through the things I have. I hope this website can be a resource for all of you to get a post baby body you’re proud of! With that said here is everything I’ve put together!
